Job description

The jobholder provides a comprehensive administration service to Health Visitors and School Nurses; they will also be part of the overall admin support for Universal Children’s Service.

Universal Children’s Services has a specific role in arranging the delivery of healthcare services to meet the needs of communities across Forth Valley. The department provides day to day administration to support services, ensuring the smooth running and effective management of resources within Universal Children’s Services and to ensure the highest possible delivery of patient care.

Duties are varied and will include, minutes of meetings, the use of IT equipment including local and national systems to read, analyse and record patient/client information data entry, entering and retrieving information via computerised systems, liaising with other departments by telephone and face-to-face.

Candidates should have excellent communication skills with good interpersonal skills, the ability to prioritise workload, have an approachable disposition and be used to working as part of a team.

Training and support will be given to the successful applicants.

Hours will be worked: Week 1 Monday and Tuesday 08.30-16.30, Week 2 Monday Tuesday Wednesday 08.30-16.30.
