Job description

We are a Traded Service providing expert advice, support, and training to a diverse range of council services, maintained and academy schools, as well as external customers across Staffordshire and the wider West Midlands area. Our commitment to high standards of customer care ensures that our customers can effectively manage and protect the health, safety, and wellbeing of colleagues, service users, pupils, and others.

As one of the Admin Support Officers, you will be an integral part of our Administration Support Team. We are looking for a highly organised and proactive individual to join our team to ensure effective service delivery and efficient customer outcomes. If you are detail-oriented, have excellent organisational skills, and are passionate about customer service, we would love to hear from you.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and monitor processes to support service delivery and outcomes.
  • Manage contracts, agreements, and wellbeing initiatives to ensure value and efficiency.
  • Support project delivery, including health and safety systems and new initiatives.
  • Handle financial transactions and provide general administrative support.
  • Oversee systems such as Orbis Lone Working and coordinate training logistics.
  • Maintain confidential records, ensure data protection compliance, and support FOI requests.
  • Produce statistical analysis and management information to inform decision-making.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Ideally hold NVQ Level 2 in Business & Finance, Administration, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Be highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage time effectively under pressure.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Be proficient in using computer-based and financial information systems.
  • Demonstrate a strong customer service ethos and the ability to work independently.
  • Be experienced in handling confidential information and managing workloads to meet deadlines.
