Salary Grade Range - £25,626 - £27,747

Working Hours - 37.0 Hours per Week

The starting salary for this role will usually be at the bottom of the salary range and will be pro-rata if the working hours are less than full time.

The Role & Key Responsibilities

From your first day with us you will be part of a policing family making a real difference.

It is our mission to identify and protect vulnerable people, prevent and respond to harm and keep people safe.

In this role you will be

Working alongside Police and Civilian Investigators preparing documents and evidence within case files for the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) and Court.

Key Responsibilities And Skills Include,

  • You will ideally have an understanding of the Police Service and how it operates.
  • You will be maintaining high standards in work presentation.
  • You will be assisting Investigators to achieve best outcomes for victims.
  • You will be handling sensitive and confidential information and maintaining evidential integrity.
  • You need a good working knowledge of administrative systems such as Word, Adobe, Microsoft Teams.
  • You need to be keen to learn as legislation and processes change.
  • Training will be provided around specific Police systems and knowledge.
  • You will be working in a fast paced environment alongside colleagues, as well as independently managing workload.

Skills & Experience

  • Passes in Maths and English GCSE or Equivalent.
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in a previous administrative role.
  • Experience working within a team.
  • Experience with being able to manage and prioritise a work load.
  • You will need to be adaptable and focused in your work.
  • You need to be proficient in typing and checking your own work for potential errors.
  • Previous background in Policing will assist, but training can be given.
