Job description

My Public Sector Client based in Cosford, Wolverhampton is looking for an Administration Officer to support their team. This is a temporary role with the possibility of extension, Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 4.00pm and then 8.00am to 12.00pm on a Friday, 32.00 hours a week. This role is paying £13.00 per hour and is currently fully onsite.

Responsibilities:
  1. Patient facing interactions, email, and telephone correspondence.
  2. Booking of appointments and courses.
  3. Proactive management of the appointment book and caseload.
  4. Dealing with general enquiries and liaising with external agencies to facilitate the patient care pathway.
  5. Attending meetings and supporting quality improvement initiatives.
  6. Regular reviews of admin processes.
  7. Administrative support to a multidisciplinary team.
  8. General office duties such as ordering stationary, scanning, shredding, photocopying, and both paper and electronic filing on cloud storage platform SharePoint.
Skills Required:
  1. Polite telephone manner.
  2. Ability to keep calm in a demanding role.
  3. Prioritisation of workload and adeptness at multi-tasking.
  4. Discretion and attention to detail when handling confidential patient information.
