Overview

Admin Officer - FINDS Data Officer
Location: Sandford House, Solihull
Full time – OFFICE BASED
Hourly rate: £13.85
Working days/hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week. 8:00–16:00 or 9:00–17:00, as applicable.

Brook Street in partnership with the Home Office has a fantastic opportunity to join their team as an Admin Officer - FINDS Data Officer.

Responsibilities
  • Ensures that the FINDS Services meet customer requirements, that operational changes are delivered in line with these requirements, and supports driving service improvements.
  • Performs data processing activities for all first line data processing within FINDS as stated in the Statement of Requirements and the associated KPIs.
  • Provides second line support to NDNAD/NFS Operations by using information from the NDNAD/NFS to respond to specific investigations with limited supervision.
  • Ensures data is processed accurately to maintain the integrity of FINDS services.
  • Provides proactive customer engagement by operating the front-line operational contact point and responding to more complex customer queries with detailed information.
  • Maintains good working relationships with customers and stakeholders, including Home Office colleagues, Law Enforcement Agencies, CPS, Forensic Service Providers, and suppliers of the database systems.
Training

4 weeks training will be provided. On-the-job training is dependent on the individual. No annual leave during the training period.

Clearance

DBS + CTC (to be applied for by Brook Street upon a successful application).
