Administration Assistant
Hours - 27 Hrs/Week over 39 Weeks/Year
(Monday - Thursday 8.30am - 2pm, Friday 8.15 - 3.45pm)
This is a suggested working pattern, but we can be flexible for the right candidate.
Basis - Part Time, Permanent
Salary/Grade - Band 2, SCP 3-5 £24,027 - £24,790 (FTE)
Actual Salary - £15,122.40 - £15,602.63(Pro Rata)

Your Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and staff, providing a welcoming and professional service
- Manage school communications, including answering phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries.
- Updating the school website and creating school newsletters
- Maintain accurate pupil records and assist with admissions processes.
- Support the administration of school events, meetings, and parent communications.
- Handle general office duties such as photocopying, and data entry
- Assist with managing school supplies and liaise with suppliers as needed.
- Support the monitoring of pupil attendance and assist with related administrative tasks
What are we looking for?
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Has experience using school management information systems is desirable but not essential.
- Demonstrates strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Is able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understands the importance of confidentiality and safeguarding in a school setting.
- Someone who can approach tasks creatively and with initiative
