Administrative Assistant (Legal)

Artemis Human Capital are delighted to be working with a highly reputable firm in the legal sector. Due to continued organic and strategic growth, they have a newly created role within their business support department for an Administrative Assistant.

This role will play an essential part in supporting the smooth functioning of the office operations and will provide administrative support for senior management and the wider firm.

Your duties will include:

  • Managing schedules, appointments and internal meetings
  • Handling incoming calls and correspondence, including emails and postal mail
  • Maintaining accurate filing systems (digital and physical)
  • Assisting with case file management and document archiving
  • Supporting billing processes and timekeeping documentation
  • Tracking key litigation deadlines and maintaining the case calendar
  • Participating in departmental meetings and handling follow-up actions
  • Handling routine client queries and relaying messages to fee earners

Experience required:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience within administrative support
  • Experience within the legal/professional services experience would be desirable
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • Tech literacy – proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Team player approach – collaborative, dependable, and willing to assist across cases
  • Confidentiality and discretion, handling sensitive information responsibly
