Job Description:

AECOM has an excellent track record of delivering programmes of critical national importance in defence, which has positioned the business as one of the leading professional services consultancies for the UK MOD, Defence Manufacturers and Contractors, and with the US Department of Defense (DoD) across Europe. With the sector of strategic importance to AECOM, representing a quarter of topline revenue for the region (c.$180m) and with a strong outlook for growth in 2025 and beyond, there is an opportunity for a Defence Administrator to join our team to support our Defence Leadership Team.

Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Provide day-to-day administration support to our Defence Leadership Team, including preparing agendas, slide decks, meeting records, and action notes, as well as making travel arrangements.
  • Review data sources such as bookings and pipeline, perform gap analysis, and generate reports, including creating dashboards in Salesforce and PowerBI.
  • Maintain Master Project and Opportunities lists.
  • Manage and develop the Defence SharePoint site.
  • Support Defence events and marketing activities with administrative assistance.
  • Proactively record and maintain high-quality framework and project data, supporting the Defence portfolio.
  • Focus on reporting, analyzing, and communicating framework activity to project teams and clients.
  • Implement and uphold processes and standards to ensure framework compliance.
  • Coordinate with other sectors to share best practices and lessons learned.
  • Assist in producing Defence Case Studies.

Minimum Requirements

  • Experience in project or framework administration or coordination within a varied project environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including Excel (pivot tables, macros), PowerPoint, Word, PowerBI, and other Office 365 tools.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines with a flexible attitude.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and willing to change.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Educational qualifications or experience in project or framework administration with analytical and numerical skills.
  • Experience as a Framework or Project Administrator in construction or engineering consultancy.

Important Information

Successful applicants will need baseline UK Security Clearance or be willing to apply, with the company supporting the process.
