Job Title: Administrative Assistant (Complaints, FOI and Investigation Team)

Location: GCHSCP Business Development, Commonwealth House, 32 Albion Street, Glasgow, G1 1LH

Salary: £26,584.54 - £28,609.93 per year

Contract Type: Temporary

Position Type: Full Time

Hours: 35 hours per week

Job Description

We are pleased to offer an opportunity to work for the largest local authority in Scotland, in partnership with the NHS, supporting the data rights of our service users, past and present.

The Complaints, Freedom of Information (FOI), and Investigations Team (CFIT) within the Business Development section of Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership (GCHSCP) handles complaints administration, FOI responses, and duties under the Data Protection Act 2018, including providing guidance on Data Protection matters.

We seek a driven individual to support a new temporary specialist team within CFIT for up to 18 months. Applicants should have previous administration experience, good literacy/numeracy skills, strong communication and organizational skills, and familiarity with software packages like Microsoft Office. Full training will be provided.

Applicants must be able to plan, organize, and complete work within deadlines, work well as part of a team, deputize for senior managers when needed, and demonstrate flexibility.

  • Ensuring confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
  • Engaging in practical data processing to support the team in delivering services to vulnerable individuals.
