Role Summary
As an Administrative Assistant – AMP and Creative Projects, you’ll play a vital role in supporting Hillsong UK’s Performing Arts Team. This part-time position (30 hours/week over 4 days including Saturdays) is a fixed-term contract until 14th July 2026, based in London with hybrid working.
You will provide essential administrative, operational, and communication support to help manage both the Amplified Arts Academy and Hillsong Creative Projects (such as London Carols). Your focus will be on keeping things running smoothly and ensuring our communications, finances, and day-to-day operations reflect the excellence and heart behind these initiatives.
Amplified Arts Academy exists to inspire and equip young people aged 4–17 through inclusive and high-quality performing arts education. Hillsong Creative Projects bring the gospel to life through innovative, creative expressions that support our church’s mission.
What You’ll Be Doing
AMP Communications
- Act as the main point of contact for parents, guardians, and students.
- Oversee onboarding for new students, from enquiry through to registration.
- Create and send weekly updates to parents/guardians and staff.
- Coordinate communications for AMP events and performances.
- Manage AMP’s social media content creation, scheduling, and engagement.
AMP Finance
- Track staff hours and calculate monthly totals.
- Process freelance staff payments.
- Manage fee payments from parents/guardians.
- Support bursary applications and ensure discounts are recorded accurately.
- Assist with sourcing and purchasing uniforms, equipment, and supplies.
Other AMP Responsibilities
- Serve as on-site manager for AMP Saturdays (across locations).
- Oversee operational needs to ensure smooth programme delivery.
- Assist with timetabling and scheduling.
- Maintain student progress documentation.
- Take minutes during meetings and support team follow-ups.
- Manage safeguarding training, contracts, DBS checks, and data protection requirements.
- Help plan and deliver events such as the AMP Showcase.
- Provide occasional programme supervision or teaching assistant support during Saturday sessions, after-school clubs, and holiday programmes.
Hillsong Creative Projects
- Assist with planning and operations (e.g. timelines, schedules, casting) for projects like London Carols.
- Attend meetings, rehearsals, and services to support with logistics and note-taking.
- Manage communications to cast, crew, and team members.
- Support purchasing needs (wardrobe, props, contractors, etc.).
Additional Responsibilities
- Take on additional tasks as required, including conference and event support.

Skills & Educational Requirements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Experience
- Administrative experience in a charity, arts, or education setting.
- Experience using Canva (or similar tools) for digital content.
- Some experience working in performing arts or classroom-based settings.
Key Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Strong time management and the ability to prioritise tasks.
- High attention to detail and proactive problem-solving.
- Confident working independently and using initiative.
- Proficiency in Word and Excel.
- Quick to learn new systems and processes.
- Understanding of the arts sector.
- Familiarity with Hillsong Church’s mission, values, and events.
- Good grasp of safeguarding and operational processes in education or church settings.
