Job summary

Witherslack Group is seeking an administrative assistant to support the busy school office. You’ll back the senior administrator, run the reception daily, and keep accurate files and reports. This 17-hour weekly role offers a balanced schedule and a chance to contribute to a supportive SEND environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience handling busy reception/administrative tasks.
  • Good computer literacy and familiarity with standard software.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable, hard-working and friendly with young people.

Responsibilities

  • Support senior administrator and run daily reception tasks.
  • Maintain accurate files and prepare reports.
  • Ensure smooth operation of school administration.
  • Assist with general clerical duties as needed.

You’ll be there to keep our busy school running smoothly, from supporting the senior administrator, to running the reception day to day. With your efficient, professional approach you’ll be responsible for accurate files and production of reports.

Our new Castlefell Schoolis a purpose built, brand new, state of the art school, catering primarily for children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs but also providing for children with autism who have moderate learning needs. The school provides education for up to 50 children aged 8 to 16.
