We are an Adult Education service delivering courses across the community in a range of subjects, from basic computer courses and functional skills in English and Maths to painting and drawing, within adult learning centres and community-based venues.
The successful candidates will be part of a busy administrative team, assisting learners with enrolment, maintaining education records, and performing data entry responsibilities.
As the first point of contact for our learners, you will need to demonstrate excellent customer service skills and create a friendly and welcoming environment for all.
Essential requirements for candidates:
Training will be provided on the department's management information system (MIS); however, experience with databases or data entry is advantageous.
As part of a team, the successful candidate will assist with opening and locking the adult education centres as required.
There is a requirement to be on duty during evening opening hours (typically one evening per fortnight) and to assist with occasional weekend events.
Hours: 37 hours per week
Qualifications: A minimum of 5 GCSEs at grades A* to C (9 to 4), including English and Maths, or equivalent. The successful applicant must provide evidence of these qualifications.
The successful applicant will be required to undertake a Standard DBS Check.
