Job description

Location: Manchester (office based)

Salary: up to £26,000 DOE

Contract Type: Full time, permanent

About the Role:

We are seeking a proactive and organised Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team. You will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth operation of our office by managing a variety of administrative tasks and ensuring our internal systems and client communications run efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and approve test certificates using our bespoke internal system
  • Monitor and chase engineers for paperwork and uploads
  • Clone existing job files and build a database for upcoming projects
  • Set up new jobs within our system
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls professionally
  • Book hotels and parking for engineers and staff
  • Upload documentation to client portals accurately and promptly
  • Manage and respond to Penalty Charge Notices
  • Provide general administrative support to the Office Manager and Director

About You:

  • Strong organisational skills and keen attention to detail
  • Confident communicator, both written and verbal
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently
  • Comfortable working with bespoke systems (training will be provided)
  • Experience in an office environment preferred but not essential
