Out & About are on the hunt for an administrative assistant, who is full of enthusiasm, compassion and empathy with the desire to be part of a small team that delivers a vital lifeline of transport within their local community to those that may otherwise be forgot about! The right person needs to accurately and effectively take bookings, schedule trips plus general administration within the office. The nature of the role requires attention to detail, a flexible approach and the ability to exercise initiative and work well under pressure.

  • Reception duties and telephone enquiries.
  • Update the system after receiving bookings.
  • Maintain filing systems, along with the other relevant admin duties.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Flexible approach to work.
  • At least 3 GCSE's at grade A, B, and C and / or at least two years experience, within the last five years of office systems and procedures.
  • Knowledge of MS Office General Knowledge of Mid Ulster District
  • Excellent interpersonal / communication skills
  • Previous Community / Voluntary sector experience.
  • Interest in personal development and willing to undertake further training
  • Understanding and knowledge of community development and community relations issues in a rural setting.
