Job Description

As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide high-level administrative support to the Chief Financial Officer to ensure the efficient running of the business area. You will support the CFO in their day-to-day activities, maximising their time and enabling them to be effective in their role.

We are looking for someone to:

  • Provide comprehensive assistance to the Director in an extremely fast-paced environment
  • Understand priorities, reorganise workload and tasks accordingly to ensure the Directors’ time is maximised
  • Carry out delegated tasks from the CFO to a high standard, using initiative and asking for guidance when necessary
  • Coordinate and manage the Directors’ diaries, managing time effectively and prioritising urgent matters to ensure smooth, timely, and professional operations
  • Act as an ambassador, gatekeeper, and point of contact for the Director and Direct Reports, dealing with all matters efficiently, sensitively, and reliably
  • Manage and organise Directors’ travel and accommodation
  • Prepare agendas, papers, and presentations for Committee meetings
  • Meet and greet visitors and make arrangements
  • Handle day-to-day operations of both offices professionally and friendly

Qualifications

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Previous experience handling confidential information
  • Attention to detail with strong time management and organisational skills to manage busy schedules/diary
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach
  • Ability to problem-solve
  • Stakeholder management – ability to build strong stakeholder relationships
