A large healthcare provider in Scotland is seeking an Administration & Waiting List Manager responsible for overseeing patient scheduling and managing waiting times in line with government standards. The ideal candidate should have experience in complex administrative management, preferably in healthcare, alongside leadership and problem-solving skills. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient service delivery in a busy surgical specialty.

We are recruiting for an Administration & Waiting List Manager to support the delivery of care within our Trauma & Orthopaedics service. This role involves overseeing patient scheduling across clinics and theatres, managing waiting times in line with Scottish Government standards, monitoring and managing waiting list performance and leading a team of administrative staff.
The post sits within a busy surgical specialty where clear communication and strong coordination skills are essential. You will work closely with clinical and managerial colleagues to ensure services run efficiently and patients are seen in a timely and well-organised manner.
Applicants should have experience in managing complex administrative systems, ideally in a healthcare setting, and a working knowledge of the NHS GGC access policy. The role calls for a confident and organised individual with leadership skills, a practical approach to problem-solving, and ease with digital systems.
