We are on the hunt for a highly capable and experienced Administration Support Officer to join our Roading team. You'll need to hit the ground running, get stuck in and own the work in front of you right from the get-go as the role is pretty grunty.

This role will require you to be a forward-thinker with a proactive attitude who can provide high-level, proactive, efficient, and comprehensive administration assistance and support for our Roading team whilst lending a hand to the wider Engineering team.

Responsibilities include:

  • managing the customer service requests for the roading team collecting and recording roading related data
  • liaising with contractors/key stakeholders/ratepayers
  • compiling reports
  • preparing presentations
  • providing administrative support, including calendar management for the Roading team and the wider Engineering team.

We're after a self-starter - someone who is driven, professional and effective. In this busy and ever-changing environment, attention to detail is crucial, the ability to juggle pressured situations and deadlines will be second nature and you will thrive on being able to power through the day-to-day responsibilities with confidence as well as relish the variety of the ad-hoc tasks. All the while, your customer-focused and can-do mindset will ensure our key partners, stakeholders and customers receive the best possible service.

This is a permanent, part-time role working five hours per day, Monday - Friday (hours of work to be negotiated) and will be based out of our office in Fairlie, South Canterbury.
