A regional health provider in Brecon is looking for a full-time Administration Support Officer to assist the Audiology Department. Responsibilities include reception duties such as answering calls and managing appointments, alongside administrative tasks like updating records. The ideal candidate should have GCSE level education, experience in customer service, and proficiency in IT. A positive attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential.
We have a vacancy for a full time Administration Support Officer to join our Audiology Department.
The successful candidate will work from Brecon Hospital to provide administration support to our small Audiology team. This will include reception duties such as taking phone calls, booking appointments and coordinating various waiting lists for both the adult and paediatric departments.
The Administration Assistant will provide a comprehensive front desk/administrative support service to the department.
This will include;
Acting as a first point of contact for the department.
Answering telephone calls, taking messages accurately.
Dealing with routine and specialist enquiries in a pleasant and helpful manner, communicating relevant information to the relevant departments/person, referring to others as appropriate.
Photocopying and word processing documents, letters, emails, minutes and reports when required.
Updating of electronic and paper-based systems, collating of information, mail distribution and logging etc.
