Overview

A Vacancy at Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust. West Community Health Administration Service have an exciting opportunity to join us as Band 3 Administration Officer supporting Care Coordination Centre Hospital at Home Team. Part time hours covering shifts 7 days per week.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high quality and efficient administration support within the Administration Service to support clinical services and functions within the Trust's localities.
  • Patient data management on SystmOne.
  • Maintain smooth running of the office, including stationery audits.
  • Telephone support, receiving and making calls to patients, including making appointments on SystmOne and handling general queries relating to appointments.
  • Operate as a centralised administration service to support clinical services and functions within the Trust's localities.
  • Ensure timely and accurate recording of all activity across services using Trust information systems.
  • Work as part of a team to provide cover for absence across all services/locations; may be required to relocate to provide cover.
  • Book appointments and handle referrals, and answer incoming calls to minimise waiting times.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships; be approachable and flexible in approach to work.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Experience in administration with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Computer literate with experience of MS Word and Excel; training provided on SystmOne and other internal systems.
  • Positive and compassionate approach to supporting patient care; able to communicate with patients by telephone.
  • Ability to work in a professional, efficient, friendly and polite manner; able to build effective working relationships.
  • Willingness to be part of a team and provide cover for absence across services/locations.
