Vacancy at Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust. West Community Health Administration Service invites applications for a Band 3 Administration Officer supporting the First Episode in Psychosis Mental Health Team, based in Harlow.
Responsibilities
- Provide high quality and efficient administrative support to the First Episode in Psychosis Mental Health Team, based in Harlow.
- Maintain patient data management on SystmOne and ensure accurate and timely recording of activity across services using trust information systems.
- Maintain smooth running of the office, including stationery audits.
- Provide telephone support, receive and make calls to patients, including making appointments on SystmOne and handling general appointment queries.
- Operate as a centralised administration service providing comprehensive administration support to clinical services and functions within the Trust's localities.
- Work as part of a team to cover absence across all services/locations and be prepared to relocate temporarily to provide cover when required.
- Ensure referrals are actioned and processed in a timely manner; handle incoming calls to minimise waiting times.
- Be flexible with regard to covering across Rochford Hospital and Kingsley Centre as required.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience in administration with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Computer literate with experience of MS Word and Excel; full training on PARIS and other internal systems; PARIS experience would be an advantage.
- Positive and compassionate approach to supporting patient care; able to handle telephone communications with patients.
- A professional, efficient, friendly and polite manner; ability to build effective working relationships; approachable and flexible in approach to work.
- Ability to work as part of the NHS Admin team and pursue an administrative career within the Trust.
