Job summary

Forestry England's Coleford-based team is looking for an Administration Officer (Estates) to provide efficient financial and administrative support to the Estates team in the Forest of Dean. You will handle enquiries from tenants, contractors and external stakeholders, and liaise with colleagues across the district.

Based at the Grade II Listed Coleford Office, the role is full-time (37 hours) with a salary of £26,959 per annum and a permanent contract.

What You’ll Do…

You will provide an efficient financial and administrative support service for the busy Estates team based in the Forest of Dean. Providing assistance to the wider locally based forestry and recreation teams and national colleagues whilst dealing with enquiries from tenants, contractors and external stakeholders.

In addition, you will be liaising regularly with colleagues in the wider District and beyond.

Where you’ll work…

Based at the Grade II Listed Coleford Office in the Forest of Dean, GL16 8BA. The role principally covers the northern half of the district from Bristol to Shrewsbury, out to Wiltshire in the east (full time office based).
