Job description

Administration Officer - England North

We are recruiting an Administration Officer to provide high quality administrative support to the England North to enable it to fulfil its commitments and support all stakeholders.

What you will do:

- As part of the Central Administration team, work with central and area administrators to provide efficient administrative support to your Area and the wider charity as required.n- Assist the Area Manager with managing the Area diary, arranging and organising training, meetings and bookings as required.n- Coordinate training bookings for your Area, using the diary system, email and databases to ensure training is organised, allocated and delivered.n- Help to facilitate training delivery nationally, responding to email and telephone enquiries, ensuring preparation, materials, resources, venues, for all events are in place when required.n- Help to plan, contribute to and attend PAPYRUS conferences, workshops and events as required.n- Manage the Area inbox and phone line assessing the nature and urgency of the correspondence and responding or referring to colleagues as appropriate.

To be successful in this role you will have:

- A minimum of 6 National 5s or equivalent including Maths and English grade C or aboven- Demonstrable experience in a team administrator role or equivalentn- Experience of effectively using Microsoft packages (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams) and online platforms managing information, collating and producing reportsn- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage and prioritise your workloadn- Ability to resolve issues and identify solutions, seeking support and guidance where requiredn- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately in line with GDPRn- Ability to work from home with remote management

Salary : £24,404 per annum (SCP 4) progressing by increments to £25,183 per annum (SCP 6)

Hours : 36 hours per week

Contract : Permanent

Location : Home based in England North (includes North West, North East and Yorkshire and the Humber) with the requirement to travel across the Area and to Head Office as and when required
