We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our client, based in Belfast, as a full-time Administrator. This is a long-term temporary opportunity.

Administrator Pay Rate: £12.97 per hour

Start Date: 9th June

Administrator hours of work:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 37 hours shift pattern – rota between 8am-8pm

Job Duties:

The main focus of this department is to promote the financial responsibility parents have for their children, providing information and support to enable effective child maintenance arrangements, and delivering an efficient statutory maintenance service with enforcement powers.

You will work as part of a team in a busy, fast-paced environment, providing efficient service to customers. Your role involves contacting customers by phone to gather information, process applications, and handle changes swiftly. Accurate calculations and thorough recording of decisions are essential, as actions can significantly impact customers' lives.

Upon completing training, you will join a specific team, with duties including:

  • Handling inbound calls from Paying Parents, Receiving Parents, and possibly Employers, with some outbound calls.
  • Managing customer expectations by explaining processes clearly and providing realistic timeframes.
  • Collecting and recording evidence and information via phone to expedite claims and process 'change of circumstance' requests accurately.
  • Maintaining professionalism in all interactions.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Making decisions regarding maintenance calculations where appropriate and recording them accurately.
  • Using Child Maintenance computer systems efficiently to record and retrieve information.
  • Responding promptly to correspondence to ensure high-quality customer service.
  • Using tracking tools to manage workload and meet organizational targets.
  • Ensuring GDPR compliance by handling customer information securely and appropriately.

Minimum qualifications include 5 GCSEs, including Maths and English, with certificates required.
