Welcome to our brand new Paediatric Psychiatric Liaison service based in the Great North Children's Hospital in Newcastle. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our new team. This is a full-time post, working Monday to Friday.
The Psychiatric Liaison Team will consist of a Psychiatrist, Nursing Staff, and Administrative Staff who also work alongside the Acute Trust staff.
We offer assessment, treatment, intervention, and advice for those referred to the service.
To carry out duties as assigned to, working under the direction of the Admin Team Lead and Clinical Leads to ensure a comprehensive, high-quality administrative service to the team at all times. The post will also include taking telephone calls for the Liaison Team.
The post holder should be confident dealing with service users and carers on the telephone, alongside dealing with inquiries from other professionals.
Working days are Monday to Friday inclusive.
