Description

V.Ships Leisure is looking for Administration Manager on behalf of Mitsui Ocean Cruises. The Administration Manager responsibilities focus on specific areas related to guest services, financial transactions, and onboard administration. They are responsible for managing Crew and guest inquiries and issues, handling financial transactions, maintaining administrative records, coordinating different crew and Guest accounting matters, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations, according to Company manuals and accounting procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generating reports on guest accounts, financial transactions, and other administrative activities as management requires.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to administrative tasks.
  • Facilitating communication and coordination between guests, crew members, and other cruise ship departments and providing regular updates and communication to guests regarding onboard activities, events, and announcements.
  • Participating in safety drills and emergency protocols to safeguard the well-being of guests and crew aboard while also upholding adherence to safety regulations and company policies pertaining to guest services and administrative functions.
  • Promoting a culture of continuous improvement and professionalism within the administrative department.
  • Implementing measures to enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency in collaboration with other departments.
  • Proficiency in computer skills and familiarity with relevant software applications are essential for Admin Pursers to manage administrative tasks efficiently. This may include software for financial transactions, guest information systems, and communication tools.
  • Manages, directs, and processes performance appraisals for all reporting team members accordingly.
Education/Experience/Qualifications:
  • Possess exceptional customer service skills to effectively interact with guests, address their inquiries and concerns, and ensure a positive and memorable experience onboard.
  • Must be highly organized and adept at managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Should have time management skills to prioritize tasks and adhere to deadlines within a dynamic and fast-paced setting.
  • Clear and practical communication skills are essential for Admin Pursers to communicate with guests, crew members, and other departments onboard the cruise ship. This includes verbal communication, written communication, and active listening skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities to quickly identify and address guest issues, resolve conflicts, and make decisions to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial transactions, administrative records, and guest information. Mistakes in these areas can significantly affect guest satisfaction and financial management.
  • Should be able to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with other departments and crew members.
