Role

As an Administration Manager, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. The Administration Manager ensures smooth, safe, and compliant site operations under the PFI contract. The role oversees training delivery, staff supervision, and budget management, while driving continuous improvement, supporting commercial activity, and upholding quality and assurance standards.

Day-to-day, you will:

  • Supervise and develop admin staff to support training delivery
  • Coordinate training schedules and ensure alignment with the annual training plan
  • Maintain compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, HS&E, and PFI contract requirements
  • Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders including contractors and clients
  • Manage budgets, procurement processes, and reporting outputs
  • Oversee reception and meet-and-greet services in a 24/7 operational environment

This role is full time working 37 hours per week and is based on site at Severn Park Fire & Rescue Centre, Bristol. It is a 52 Week Fixed Term Contract.

Essential experience
  • Considerable experience in administrative team supervision
  • Proven expertise in using bespoke event management, resource scheduling systems, or database platforms.
Qualifications
  • Minimum HND in Business Administration or equivalent relevant experience
  • Proficient in IT systems and software applications
  • IOSH Managing Safely certification desirable
  • Full, clean UK driving licence.

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role.
