Job description

Annual salary: up to £35,000.00

Administration Manager

Location: Rotherham

Job Type: Full time - Permanent - 42.5 hours per week

Salary: £35,000 per annum

Mears has over 30 years of delivering market-leading repairs, refurbishment, fire safety, and building maintenance services. We are trusted to carry out over 6,000 housing repairs daily across a portfolio of more than 1,000,000 homes nationwide.

About the role:

The Administration Manager will oversee and coordinate all administrative functions within the branch. Responsibilities include managing and mentoring the administration team, ensuring high standards of service and customer satisfaction, managing administrative processes such as communication, event organization, and financial tasks including petty cash and overtime. The role involves maintaining the branch, preparing for audits, and developing key branch plans. Ensuring compliance with legal and procedural standards, meeting deadlines, and occasionally visiting sites to support operations are also key aspects of this role.

Additional information:

All roles require candidates to have the right to work in the UK. Mears does not currently sponsor visas.

To drive a Mears vehicle, candidates must be over 21, have held a valid license for more than 3 months, and have fewer than 9 points.

All roles are subject to DBS/Security checks prior to employment.
