We’re looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Administration Manager to lead the delivery of high-quality, culturally safe reception and administrative services at North Richmond Community Health. Working closely with the Chief Corporate Officer, this role leads a dynamic team of administration staff and plays a key part in supporting clinical and program delivery across the organisation.
This is a people-focused role with a strong emphasis on service improvement, systems management, and collaborative leadership.
Key responsibilities include:
• Providing day-to-day leadership, mentoring, and performance support for our reception and medical admin teams
• Overseeing triage processes and ensuring excellent customer service across all client interactions
• Managing billing processes, health fund claims, and the secure handling of medical records
• Leading service reviews and continuous improvement activities to enhance efficiency and integration
• Working closely with internal stakeholders including the Medical Practice Manager, Head of Clinical Services, and Program Managers to ensure streamlined administrative support
Are you an organised and values-driven leader who thrives in fast-paced, community-focused environments?
You’ll be a strong communicator and skilled administrator with a hands-on approach to leadership and problem-solving. Your ability to engage with diverse teams, streamline systems, and model excellent customer service will be key to your success in this role.
To be successful, you will have:
• At least 3 years’ experience in a similar administration management role within healthcare
• Demonstrated experience leading, training and mentoring administrative teams
• High level of computer proficiency, including MS Office and patient management systems
• Experience with patient and health fund billing
• Strong time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
• A commitment to inclusive practice, collaboration and continuous improvement
Bonus points if you also have:
• Experience working with multicultural communities
• The ability to speak a community language
