Job responsibilities

Role: Administration & Engagement Officer

Location: High Wycombe

Salary: £23,809.50

We are seeking an Engagement Officer to work 37.5 hours per week, with a negotiable working pattern that may include hybrid working, occasional evenings, and weekends. The role requires travel across the Manchester area to engage with stakeholders and attend events.

As an Administration & Engagement Officer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Improving awareness of the importance of diabetic eye screening within community groups
  • Focusing on underserved communities and seldom-heard groups, including those with learning disabilities, areas of deprivation, and non-responders, collaborating with the Stakeholder and Quality Assurance Manager on consultation activities
  • Analyzing and reporting on patient satisfaction feedback and experience surveys
  • Engaging with patients, carers, and professionals through forums and collaborative relationships

Qualifications and experience should include:

  • Experience in a customer-focused environment
  • Creativity in social media engagement and service user interaction
  • Awareness of cultural issues related to underserved communities
  • Ability to attend events and deliver presentations
  • Experience engaging support groups for patients is beneficial
