The Medical Specialties Division is seeking to recruit a full-time Administration Coordinator to support the Dermatology Team within the administration team.
The postholder will have a degree of autonomy to meet deadlines and will proactively manage patient pathways, maximizing Trust resources to meet NHS waiting time standards.
Key relationships include all members of the administrative and clinical teams, such as medical staff, allied health professionals, and support workers. The role involves being the first point of contact via phone and email with patients, relatives, GPs, and external hospital staff.
The postholder will escalate and troubleshoot issues to the Dermatology Administration Team Leader and contribute to proactive solutions for routine problems.
The role requires managing a busy and varied workload. Excellent written and verbal communication, along with strong interpersonal skills, are essential.
