We are looking to appoint an Admin Assistant post at our fabulous new site in Offerton. Lisburne School is an outstanding special school for pupils with severe and complex needs. This post is to join the Admin team within the school supporting the Headteacher and School Business Manager.
This is a very exciting time for our school; we have moved and also just converted to be part of the Four Rivers Multi Academy Trust.
The post requires applicants to be able to demonstrate initiative, a desire to become involved in professional development to ensure high quality of work, a willingness to be flexible and adapt calmly to ever-changing situations. You will become part of a highly experienced and committed team. Knowledge of Sims.net, Google Mail, Word, Excel, and other school applications, whilst not essential, would be desirable. You will be a first point of contact in our school office for our visiting parents, staff, and other visitors. Above all, you must be conscientious and have the motivation and ability to work independently, prioritising your workload each day.
If you would like to discuss this post in more detail, please contact the School Business Manager, Mrs Hayley Yates, on Tel. 0161 483 5045.
Please respond with your completed application form via email only to the Headteacher of Lisburne School.
Closing Date: Friday 25th April 2025 at 1pm
Shortlisting: Monday 28th April 2025
Interview Date: Tuesday 6th May 2025
This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful applicant’s appointment will be subject to satisfactory references, online checks, and clearances by the DBS.
Please note that this is a private organisation and the appointed candidate will be employed by Four Rivers Multi Academy Trust directly.
