Administration Assistant (Student Funding)
Fixed Term until 25th June 2027
Salary: DA5 - £27,734 to £29,006 per annum
Campus: Gardyne Campus

We are currently seeking a committed and enthusiastic individual to join our Administration Services team for the post of Student Funding Assistant.

The ideal candidate should have knowledge of the varied services provided by the Administration Services team, in particular, student funding/residency/DWP benefit eligibility criteria. Customer care is paramount, and working in a demanding office environment is required. Applicants should have excellent communication, data accuracy, problem-solving, time management, and customer service skills, along with a working knowledge of Office-based applications.

Working within this multi-skilled team you will:

  • Liaise with students on queries relating to student funding eligibility and residency whilst studying at college.
  • Review documentation received in relation to student funding applications and liaise with students and staff on further evidence required to support funding applications.
  • Process and assess evidence received to calculate a student’s funding award.
  • Process, distribute, and track all information relating to student funding applications.
  • Input and amend data in relation to student funding applications.
  • Support wider administration services teams throughout the learner journey.
  • Work closely with curriculum staff and various college departments to ensure an effective and efficient service is provided to all customers throughout their studies.
