A large healthcare organization in Scotland is seeking an Administration Assistant to join its Public Protection Service. This permanent position involves providing administrative support within a dynamic team dedicated to public protection. Ideal candidates should have general office experience, and training will be offered. The role is essential in supporting key personnel, including nurses and medical leads within the organization.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde Public Protection Service as an Administration Assistant Band 2. Working within a board wide team the post holder will play a pivotal role in providing high quality administration support. We are seeking candidates who wish to be part of a dynamic and developing service and team. The post holder will work as part of a team consisting of Chief Nurse and Head of Public Protection Service, Public Protection Lead Nurses (Child and Adult Support and Protection) Public Protection Nurse Advisors, Lead Pediatrician for Child Protection, Public Protection Medical Lead and Administration Staff. The administration team currently comprises an Administration Manager and 2 Senior Business Support Administration staff. The Public Protection Service provides expert advice, support and guidance to staff in NHS GGC on matters relating to Public Protection. The team is based at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital site. General administration and office experience and experience of using a Patient Management System would be desirable however training will be provided.
