An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our small but fast paced team whilst our current assistant is on maternity leave. Venues In Salford, based at Buile Hill Park Hall is the City Council's commercial catering team, we look after Salford resident's weddings/parties and corporate dinners. We also deliver catering and refreshments across the entire city. We are looking for someone to assist our Administrative Officer in their daily tasks and responsibilities ensuring they reply to all enquiries and correspondence in a timely, professional manner so that we exceed our customers' expectations.
The role is a part time role of 16 hours a week. Currently the hours worked are Tuesday to Friday, 10am to 2pm however we will offer you the flexbility in what hours or days work best for you. We are looking for someone who can answer yes to the following:-
We are looking for a polite and professional individual who can work well as part of a team. We need you to be organised, reliable and capable of dealing with all manner of enquiries calmly yet confidently. You will help the team to convert initial enquiries into confirmed bookings. You will be required to take cash and card payments for customer deposits. You will also have the ability to deal with any complaints orally or in writing with compassion and the dedication they deserve.
