Administration Assistant

We are seeking an Administration Assistant to support a fast-paced and friendly HR team. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, a positive "can-do" attitude, and a passion for working in a people-focused environment. The position is offered on a fixed-term six-month basis, with a 60-hour working fortnight.

The role
  1. Providing day-to-day admin support to the HR Officer and wider HR team
  2. Maintaining both paper and electronic personnel files
  3. Handling sensitive and confidential information in line with GDPR
  4. Preparing recruitment documentation, induction packs, and organising interviews
  5. Assisting with onboarding tasks including ID checks, reference requests, and system updates
  6. Supporting HR projects such as employee engagement surveys and training coordination
  7. Maintaining HR databases, training records, and organisational charts
  8. Updating TMS and HRM systems, including payroll pre-checks and anomaly clearance
  9. Supporting company events and internal communications
  10. Taking confidential notes and minutes when required
  11. Assisting with general admin tasks across the business as needed
About you
  1. Minimum of 2 years in a busy office administration role
  2. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  3. Proactive team player with a flexible approach
  4. Experience working in a confidential environment, with strong organisational and multitasking skills
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  6. Knowledge of MS Office is essential, with attention to detail and accuracy
  7. Minute-taking experience is advantageous
