Overview

The Electronic Assistive Technology Team (EAT) are looking for an Administrative Assistant to join their team. The role in base din the office at the Bristol Centre for Enablement and provides a support role to the clinical and technical teams.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate appointments, liaise with external healthcare professionals, patients, their families and carers, and respond to enquiries.
  • Order equipment, receive deliveries, add to stock, and update the Best electronic database.
  • Plan appointments and workloads; be responsive to the immediate needs of patients and the team.
  • Coordinate the EAT Service with its main base in Bristol and secondary offices/workshops in Plymouth and Truro; book appointments, synchronise diaries and arrange work schedules for a busy, multi-disciplinary team.
  • Maintain computerised database for repair, procurement, maintenance, and supply of the EAT service.
  • Receive incoming requests from patients, carers, relatives and other healthcare professionals for repair/replacement of parts and assist in allocation of daily workloads.
  • Act as a central referral and contact point for the service.
