Overview

Administration/Credit Control Assistant — Kettering. Hours: Monday to Friday, full time (office based). Salary circa £30K. Our Kettering based client is recruiting an Administration/Credit Control Assistant on a permanent basis. Working as part of the Finance Team this role will encompass a variety of administration duties.

Responsibilities
  • Credit Control duties.
  • General clerical and administrative duties such as answering customer queries via telephone or email.
  • Processing of customer account applications.
  • Customer account maintenance.
  • Daily, weekly and monthly reporting.
  • Cash posting.
  • Bank reconciliations.
  • The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and the candidate will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by their changing role and/or the overall business objectives of the company.
Qualifications and skills
  • A high standard of numeracy and accuracy.
  • PC literacy and proficiency with the use of MS Excel and Word; SAP experience would be preferred but not essential.
  • Effective communication both internally and externally.
  • Participate as a 'Team' player, not solely as an individual.
  • Capable of organising and prioritising workloads to meet company deadlines.
  • Flexible approach to working and learning.
  • Reliable, dependable and conscientious.
