A local administrative firm in Newport seeks an assistant/receptionist for a fixed-term position until February 2026. The role is client-facing, requiring a polite and professional demeanor to deal with visitors and callers. Responsibilities include document tracking, managing post, and assisting with client paperwork. Flexitime hours of a 36 ¼ week and generous holiday benefits provided.
Fixed term position available in our busy admin department for an assistant/receptionist which will run until the end of February 2026.
The role is client facing and as such we would be looking for somebody who is polite, helpful and professional.
Training will be provided in house for this role, though experience in this type of role would be beneficial.
Friendly working environment with a good work/life balance. Based at our office in Newport on the Isle of Wight. Flexitime based around a 36 ¼ hour working week, subject to there being sufficient cover on reception. Core hours are 8.45 am to 5.00 pm with 1 hour for lunch, Monday to Friday. Holidays are pro-rata to 29 days which includes bank holidays and 4 days over the Christmas period when the office is closed.
