Job description

Role:
We are looking for someone to help prepare and set up support groups in different locations in North Norfolk.
You will organise outings, arrange speakers for groups, assist with fundraising, and distribute promotional materials. The role will also involve safeguarding and other administrative tasks.
These are the main responsibilities of the role; upon applying, you will receive a more in-depth view of what is expected.
This is an opportunity to use your life skills, create new and fulfilling friendships, and gain a sense of self-worth as you help others.

Time commitment:
4 to 12 hours per week

Location:
Southrepps and Norwich

About the organisation:
We are a registered charity providing support for younger people with dementia, including those recently diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease or any other form of dementia. The support groups are also for the carer partner, and our aim is to help and provide aid so that people can live as near as possible to a normal life.
We were formed because once a person is diagnosed with Early Onset Dementia, there is often little help or care from the NHS. To address this, we provide support groups so people can learn that they are not alone and that help is available, at the very least a shoulder to lean on.
