Job Introduction

As an Administrator at Sodexo, based in North Devon District Hospital, you’ll play a key role in supporting the smooth financial and operational running of our services. Working closely with the Site Finance Lead and wider management team, you'll handle essential administrative tasks, contribute to key reporting processes, and help ensure our teams have what they need to deliver exceptional service. What you’ll do:
  1. Collaborate closely with Sodexo Managers, Zone Coordinators, and Supervisors to support daily operations.
  2. Ensure compliance with all relevant Sodexo and Trust policies, procedures, and required training programs.
  3. Maintain a professional appearance by wearing the correct uniform and Trust ID badge at all times.
  4. Handle confidential information with discretion and uphold patient dignity, offering assistance to patients, staff, and visitors as needed.
  5. Support high standards of patient care through excellent customer service and participation in customer care training.
  6. Complete and maintain audit documentation, KPI reports (using Saffron), and quality records in line with company standards.
  7. Perform a range of administrative tasks, including invoice processing, stock updates, minute-taking, handling hospitality orders, and managing internal communications.
  8. Promote a safe working environment by adhering to Health & Safety policies, reporting incidents, and encouraging a culture of “zero harm.”
What you bring:
  1. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  2. Competent in IT skills including MS Office, Excel, Powerpoint.
  3. Ability to follow instruction.
  4. Ability to comply with service requirements in line with client policies at all times.
  5. Observance of Health and Safety legislation at all times.
  6. Undertake training as and when required.
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  8. Good literacy skills.
  9. NVQ Level 1.
