This post is to provide a clinical administration/typing service based at The James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough and Friarage Hospital in Northallerton.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Enthusiastic team player wanting to gain experience across various roles
  • Able to work flexibly
  • An excellent communicator with high interpersonal skills
  • An accurate typist with OCR/RSA qualification or equivalent experience
  • Able to type at 50 words per minute, working towards 70
  • Experienced in audio-typing (desirable)
  • Knowledgeable of Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email, and Internet
  • Committed to personal development
  • Diplomatic, tactful, sensitive, and aware of confidentiality
