The Role:

As an Administrator at Redford Court, your main purpose is to assist in the running of the service in terms of operational, administrative, and financial effectiveness, within the policies determined by Brainkind and within budgets, which will be prepared locally and agreed centrally.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities (but not limited to):
  • Collate emails received daily, prioritize according to urgency/importance, and take action to meet deadlines.
  • Handle cash/cheque responsibilities for the service/unit/department, ensuring records and banking duties are accurate, timely, and processed for month-end reporting.
  • Undertake purchase ledger responsibilities and related duties as required.
  • Organize systematic filing (electronic and/or manual) of necessary paperwork.
  • Assist in handling telephone inquiries professionally, direct calls appropriately, and take messages as needed. May include reception duties.
  • Perform other administrative duties, including deputizing for others, to support smooth service/unit/department operation as directed.
  • Communicate effectively with staff at all levels, ensuring efficient collation and distribution of information.
  • Support in collecting and submitting accurate data to Central Support Services within deadlines.
  • Assist in chasing debts in conjunction with Credit Controllers and/or central support functions.
Skills/Experience required:
  • Experience in setting up and maintaining office systems.
  • Experience in using and setting up databases.
  • Supervisory experience and task delegation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and workload prioritization.
  • Numerical proficiency.
  • Experience working with confidentiality.
  • Marketing experience.
  • Experience recruiting staff.
