Administration Assistant

Department: Debt Recovery

Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time

Location: Leeds

Due to firmwide growth we are looking to recruit an experienced Administration Assistant to support the fee earners in our recoveries department in Leeds with secretarial and billing support. In addition, the Administration Assistant will support the Finance & Administration Supervisor in the recoveries team with administration and finance tasks during busy periods.

This role reports on a day-to-day basis to the Head of Recoveries and will be based at our Leeds office, Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • File opening and file closing.
  • Complete court documentation.
  • Billing of matters and working with finance department on billing queries.
  • Paying invoices
  • Liaising with finance re expected payments;
  • WIP monitoring – distribution of reports to team members / calendar monitoring etc to ensure no deadlines are missed.
  • Team reports – limitation dates / holidays requested by the team.
  • Use the firms case systems including NetDocs & Casenet to obtain MI and reporting for management teams.
  • Any other finance or administration tasks set by the Head of Recoveries.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

You will:
