Overview

Permanent – Full Time. Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 17:30 with 1 hour for lunch. Start Date – ASAP.

Role: We are seeking a proactive and flexible individual with good interpersonal skills to join our team. The role includes switchboard, administration and reception duties with opportunities for full training where required.

Responsibilities
  • Switchboard based duties: taking and directing calls; representing the business with a positive and professional attitude.
  • Administration based duties: supporting the sales team with the production of CVs to a high standard of speed and accuracy; creation of letters, reports, etc. using MS Office; general office duties such as filing, processing incoming/outgoing mail; data input using the in‑house database.
  • Reception based duties: taking/directing calls via a switchboard with a professional telephone manner; greeting and signing in visitors (adhering to security procedures); diary/vehicle management, front door security and reporting suspicious activity; representing the business with a positive and professional attitude.
Minimum Requirements
  • At least one year of experience in a reception/office environment.
  • A typing or Word Processing qualification / NVQ Business Administration Level 2 or equivalent.
  • Experience of MS Office – in particular Word and Excel.
  • Professional approach and discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Excellent telephone and communication skills.
  • A full driving licence would be beneficial.
