You will beworking with a team of admin supports within the Countywide Evening and nighthub at Droitwich Health Centre.

You will also assist the team to develop and achieve team andorganizational objectives. You will also participate in staff meetings andtraining & development activities as necessary to ensure your skills andknowledge are up to date.

Main duties of the job

The successfulcandidate will support nursing staff in triaging and planning patient visitswhilst maintaining the individuals privacy and dignity, values diversity andrespects cultural and individual rights and choices. This will involve takingcalls direct from patients and their families, and other services such as theAmbulance service, GP out of hours, and discharging hospitals. Then assistingthe Registered nurses in allocating visits through IT systems to the nursesworking across the County.

Person Specification
Qualifications
  • Educated to academic Level 2 (e.g. GCSE Grade A-C, NVQ2, OCR/RSA2, City and Guilds 2) in a Business Administration-related subject or Considerable recent NHS administrative experience and will be expected to undertake the relevant level 2 qualification on appointment to post
  • I understand that I will be asked to provide original certificates to verify my qualifications at point of offer.
Experience
  • Recent, relevant experience in an Administrative/Secretarial/ Reception Role
Knowledge
  • Knowledge of office procedures.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Understanding of the Data Protection Act and NHS Code of Confidentiality

  • Willingness to commit to continuing professional development
  • Professional manner as a representative of the Trust
  • Tact and discretion for dealing with confidential information
  • Ability to meet the travel requirements of the role
