A local educational institution in Dover is seeking a part-time Administration Assistant to manage office duties, act as the first point of contact, and perform general administrative tasks. The role requires strong organisational skills, a friendly telephone manner, and attention to detail, along with a minimum of GCSE grade C/4 in English and Mathematics. The position is 30 hours per week across four days during term time plus one week.

We are looking to recruit a part time Administration Assistant who is able to multitask in a busy and demanding environment. The school office also undertakes reception duties and you will often be the first point of contact for our parents, children and visitors. Therefore, you will have a confident, professional and friendly manner.
Previous experience of working within a school environment is desirable, but not essential. A great telephone manner and knowledge of relevant computer software are essential. You will need to be organised, reliable, able to prioritise work and think on your feet. General administration, data entry and filing will also be required and a high level of confidentiality and attention to detail maintained at all times.
This is a 30 hr, 4 day a week position working 8.00am – 4.00pm Monday - Thursday and 39 weeks per year (term time + 1 week).
