Location: Ashton in Makerfield, WN4 8XF

Position: Part-time Administration and Finance Assistant

Hours: 20 hours per week, term time working 38 weeks per year

Type: Permanent, available ASAP

Willow Grove Primary School is seeking an experienced part-time Administration and Finance Assistant with a passion for excellence in education and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Our school is a Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) provision with 73 pupils. We work closely with staff, parents, and governors to provide high-quality education in a trauma-informed environment. Our core values are: “Be Safe, Be Kind, Be Positive”.

The role involves supporting the school's office operations and assisting with the overall management of the school. The successful candidate will work closely with the School Business Manager and Admin Officer, contributing to the administration team and supporting the school's financial processes.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Making effective use of resources to support the school's budget.
  2. Managing daily financial processes.
  3. Contributing to the development of the administration team.
  4. Performing general administration tasks, data analysis, and customer service duties.
  5. Having prior experience in business administration; experience in schools or education sector is advantageous but not essential.
  6. Being solution-focused and embracing creativity and innovation.

Willow Grove Primary School is committed to safeguarding children and young people. The position is subject to an enhanced DBS check and other safeguarding procedures.
