Admin Team Leader Required

Hybrid with travel to sites in Leicester ,Hinckley, Wigston, Meltonon an ad-hoc basis| Interim for approx 9 months| Full-time (37 hours per week)

About the Role
We’re looking for anAdmin Team Leader to join a local authority in Leicestershire to assist in the management, coordination, and development of a comprehensive business support service across Direct Services, Adults & Communities sites maintaining a high-quality responsive customer service

Key Responsibilities

  • To assist their managers in the co-ordination and management of all administrative and technical workloads

  • Ensure that all systems and records are accurately maintained and managed

  • To work with their managers on the recruitment, selection and induction of staff

  • To allocate work amongst team members, establishing and negotiating priorities with customers, ensuring deadlines are met
  • To assist their managers in ensuring that their teams maintain, effective information and data management systems including paper and electronic documents
  • To oversee routine ordering and invoicing procedures undertaking more complex specialised ordering for projects or specialist equipment

About You
We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Administrative team leader/management experience

  • Able to travel between sites when needed

  • Customer service experience

Additional info:

  • The nature of the work may involve the jobholder carrying out work outside of normal working hours.
  • To support the administrative resource within other locality offices as and when required which may involve working at other localities on a temporary basis
  • Flexible approach to working, this may require staff to work from somewhere other than their designated office base, which may include local touchdowns/other offices or from home.
