Aberdeenshire Council seeks an Admin Support Assistant to provide essential financial and administrative support to the Environment & Infrastructure Services team. Key responsibilities include processing payroll and managing purchase orders, as well as maintaining high communication and attention to detail. This fixed-term position emphasizes a flexible attitude and the ability to work under pressure for service improvement.
Supporting our colleagues within Environment & Infrastructure Services, the role of Admin Support Assistant will undertake a range of financial and administrative activities.
Day to day tasks will include the processing of payroll and staffing related activities, purchase ordering and invoicing through digital business systems.
With a 'can do' and flexible attitude, you will have the ability to prioritise your own workload and work under pressure to meet service and corporate deadlines, working as part of a busy team or on your own initiative.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and verbal skills and demonstrate an eye for accuracy and attention to detail.
Experience of Microsoft Office packages are a requirement of the successful candidate.
There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.
Fixed term for a period not exceeding 30/06/2026.
The interviews are expected to be held on 30/06/2025.
