Job description

Admin & Operations Assistant (Remote, Property Investment Company)

About Us:

At StudentHive, we connect property investors with the very best student investment property in the UK. We've sold over £7 million worth over the past 3 years and due to our growth we are looking at bringing on our first UK based team member to help with our expansion.

The company was founded by Callum Innes who is a 27 year-old entrepreneur based out of Manchester. Having worked in Real Estate for over 5 years he set up StudentHive in 2025 off the back of having sold student property (& other investment property) successfully for multiple years.

We're super excited to start building our team as we grow in this dynamic industry!

Role Overview:

In short, the role will initially involve assisting in day-to-day operations and marketing. Assisting Callum, the director, in a wide variety of admin & basic marketing roles that should require relatively little training. Over time, the role can develop into a more senior, decision-making position within the company (although not compulsory).

This role is perfect for someone who thrives on organisation, administrative excellence, and taking ownership.

Key Responsibilities:

Months 1–6:

  • Create professional property brochures.
  • Send out mailing campaigns & blog posts through Mailchimp.
  • Coordinate with Virtual Assistants to send out letter campaigns.
  • Organise and book property viewings (potentially attend if based in North West).
  • Handle vendor and property onboarding.
  • Upload properties onto Rightmove and company websites.
  • Support with general administrative tasks as required.
  • Begin training on sales progression (liaising with buyers, sellers, and solicitors).
  • Assist with Social Media posts.

6 Months Onwards:

  • Own the full sales progression process.
  • Proactively identify and implement new operational processes.
  • Assist the founder with executive decisions.

The role will be shaped by the person - we're a growing company and should the candidate that takes the role show an interest and ability in taking on more responsibility then it will be absolutely welcomed.

Hard work is expected - but hard work is rewarded with flexibility and the ability to work somewhat on your own terms.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Exceptionally organised, thorough, and detail-oriented — a natural 'perfectionist.'
  • Intuitive - can think on their feet, make sound decisions, and work with minimal supervision.
  • Self-motivated - takes pride in producing high-quality work without being micromanaged.
  • Enjoys operational and administrative tasks more than aggressive sales or commission-driven work.
  • A 'builder' - excited by the chance to help shape the company's future.
  • Confident communicator across email, phone, and messaging platforms.
  • Confident using technology
  • Based anywhere in the UK; remote working setup.

Working Hours and Location:

  • Ideally a 4-Day Week: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday
  • Remote (UK-based applicants only)

We are an Equal Opportunities Employer and welcome applications from all qualified candidates.
